The Omloop van de Westhoek – Memorial Stive Vermaut, is a 131,9 km long race. The past two seasons, the race was sadly cancelled. In 2018, Floortje Mackaij was the best in the first-ever women’s edition.
The race begins with a 52,1 km run-in. The Krush Bikes will then have to negotiate six local laps with the climb of the Koekelareberg and a challenging cobbled sector just before the finish. Enough ways to make this an attractive race.
Our seven riders will depart from Eernegem at 14.00 CET. In Ichtegem, the finish is expected around 17.32 CET. From 15.30 CET, the race will be broadcasted here.
Grant Thornton-Krush Bikes-Tunap Sports will have the following seven riders starting the race: Melanie Klement, Nathalie Eklund, Quinty Ton, Clara Lundmark, Nienke Wasmus, Marissa Baks and Inez Beijer.
