Biehler Krush Pro Cycling kicks off their weekend with a race in southern Belgium. Inez Beijer, Laura van Regenmortel, Maike van der Duin, Marissa Baks, Quinty Ton, Roos Hoogeboom and Senna Feron represent the team in the Trophée des Grimpeuses (roughly translated: climbers trophy).

It’s a new race on the UCI calendar with start and finish in Vresse-sur-Semois. The 105,4 kilometre  long race consists of two laps of 42,6 kilometres and two 9,9 kilometre finishing circuits. DS Hans Blom knows it will be a tough race: “Flat sections are very rare and there are a lot of climbs in the race. We will have to be ready to rumble right when the flag drops.”

The following day, all TALENT Cycling teams will ride the yearly Klimloop Ulestraten. “We are happy with every race on the calendar this year and we always love to ride in Ulestraten. We have to congratulate the organisers, because it’s not easy to organise a race in these challenging times. The race itself is not your typical Dutch race. You would have to be lucky to find a few metres of pan-flat terrain on the 6,1 kilometre long course.”

The U17 and U19’s will ride a 70,1 kilometre race, meaning they will have to negotiate twelve laps of the course beforie finish around 12.00 CET. The elite women’s race starts at 13.30 CET. Approximately four hours later, the riders will have raced 123,9 kilometres.
